thereforethussaysthe LordGOD,'Behold,I am againstyou, O Tyre,and I will bringup manynationsagainstyou, as the seabringsup its waves.
For He spokeand raisedup a stormywind,Which liftedup the wavesof the sea.
And it will growloverit in that daylike the roaringof the sea.If one looksto the land,behold,there is darkness[and] distress;Even the lightis darkenedby its clouds.
"Behold,I am againstyou, O valleydweller,O rockyplain,"declaresthe LORD,"You men who say,Whowill comedownagainstus? Or whowill enterinto our habitations?'
and allthe kingsof Tyre,allthe kingsof Sidonand the kingsof the coastlandswhichare beyondthe sea;
"Behold,I am againstyou, O arrogantone," Declaresthe LordGODof hosts,"For your dayhas come,The timewhen I will punishyou.
"They seize[their] bowand javelin;They are crueland havenomercy.Their voiceroarslike the sea;And they rideon horses,Marshalledlike a manfor the battleAgainstyou, O daughterof Babylon.
"The seahas comeup overBabylon;She has been engulfedwith its tumultuouswaves.
"They seizebowand spear;They are crueland havenomercy;Their voiceroarslike the sea,And they rideon horses,Arrayedas a manfor the battleAgainstyou, O daughterof Zion!"
and sayto the landof Israel,'Thussaysthe LORD,"Behold,I am againstyou; and I will drawMy swordout of its sheathand cutofffrom you the righteousand the wicked.
For thussaysthe LordGOD,"When I makeyou a desolatecity,like the citieswhichare not inhabited,when I bringup the deepoveryou and the greatwaterscoveryou,
"Your rowershave broughtyou Into greatwaters;The eastwindhas brokenyou In the heartof the seas.
and say,'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"Behold,I am againstyou, O Sidon,And I will be glorifiedin your midst.Then they will knowthat I am the LORDwhen I executejudgmentsin her, And I will manifestMy holinessin her.
therefore,behold,I am againstyou and againstyour rivers,and I will makethe landof Egyptan utterwasteand desolation,from Migdol[to] Syeneand even to the borderof Ethiopia.
and say,'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"Behold,I am againstyou, O Gog,princeof Rosh,Meshechand Tubal.
therefore,thussaysthe LordGOD,'Behold,I, evenI, am againstyou, and I will executejudgmentsamongyou in the sightof the nations.
"And nowmanynationshave been assembledagainstyou Who say,'Let her be polluted,And let our eyesgloatover Zion.'
The liontoreenoughfor his cubs,Killed[enough] for his lionesses,And filledhis lairswith preyAnd his denswith tornflesh.
"Behold,I am againstyou," declaresthe LORDof hosts;"And I will liftup your skirtsoveryour face,And showto the nationsyour nakednessAnd to the kingdomsyour disgrace.
For I will gatherallthe nationsagainstJerusalemto battle,and the citywill be captured,the housesplundered,the womenravishedand halfof the cityexiled,but the restof the peoplewill not be cutofffrom the city.
Behold,the Lordwill dispossessher And casther wealthinto the sea;And she will be consumedwith fire.
"There will be signsin sunand moonand stars,and on the earthdismayamong nations,in perplexityat the roaringof the seaand the waves,
