It cameabout when Moseswas comingdownfrom MountSinai(and the twotabletsof the testimony[were] in Moses'handas he was comingdownfrom the mountain),that Mosesdid not knowthat the skinof his faceshonebecause of his speakingwith Him.
When the sonsof Israelsaw[it], they saidto oneanother,"Whatis it?" For they did not knowwhatit was. And Mosessaidto them, "It is the breadwhichthe LORDhas givenyou to eat.
When He had finishedspeakingwith him upon MountSinai,He gaveMosesthe twotabletsof the testimony,tabletsof stone,writtenby the fingerof God.
Then Mosesturnedand wentdownfrom the mountainwith the twotabletsof the testimonyin his hand,tabletswhich were writtenon bothsides;they were writtenon one[side] and the other.
the sonsof Israelwould seethe faceof Moses,that the skinof Moses'faceshone.So Moseswould replacethe veiloverhis faceuntilhe wentin to speakwith Him.
Whois like the wisemanand whoknowsthe interpretationof a matter?A man'swisdomillumineshim and causes his sternfaceto beam.
And He was transfiguredbeforethem; and His faceshonelikethe sun,and His garmentsbecameas whiteas light.
And againHe cameand foundthem sleeping,for their eyeswere very heavy;and they did not knowwhatto answerHim.
For he did not knowwhatto answer;for they becameterrified.
And He saidto them, "Whyis it that you were lookingfor Me? Did you not knowthat I hadto be in My Father's[house]?"
And whileHe was praying,the appearanceof His facebecamedifferent,and His clothing[became] white[and] gleaming.
But the man who was healeddid not knowwhoit was, for Jesushad slipped awaywhile there was a crowdin [that] place.
And he wentout and continued to follow,and he did not knowthat what was being doneby the angelwas real,but thoughthe was seeinga vision.
And Paulsaid,"I was not aware,brethren,that he was high priest;for it is written,YOU SHALL NOT SPEAKEVILOF A RULEROF YOUR PEOPLE.'"
And fixing their gazeon him, allwho were sittingin the Councilsawhis facelikethe faceof an angel.
and [are] not likeMoses,[who] used to puta veiloverhis facesothat the sonsof Israelwould not look intentlyat the endof what was fading away.
"Then I turnedand camedownfrom the mountainand putthe tabletsin the arkwhichI had made;and therethey are, as the LORDcommandedme."
But the womanhad takenthe twomenand hiddenthem, and she said,"Yes,the mencameto me, but I did not knowwherethey were from.
It cameabout when the kingof Aisaw[it], that the menof the cityhurriedand roseup earlyand wentout to meetIsraelin battle,he and allhis peopleat the appointedplacebeforethe desertplain.But he did not knowthat [there was] an ambushagainst him behindthe city.
In His righthandHe heldsevenstars,and out of His mouthcamea sharptwo-edgedsword;and His facewas likethe sunshiningin its strength.
I sawanotherstrongangelcoming downout of heaven,clothedwith a cloud;and the rainbowwas upon his head,and his facewas likethe sun,and his feetlikepillarsof fire;
She said,"The Philistinesare upon you, Samson!"And he awokefrom his sleepand said,"I will goout as at othertimesand shakemyself free."But he did not knowthat the LORDhad departedfrom him.
