"And you shall makethe altarof acaciawood,fivecubitslongand fivecubitswide;the altarshall be square,and its heightshall be threecubits.
So Gadcameto Davidthat dayand saidto him, "Goup, erectan altarto the LORDon the threshingfloorof Araunahthe Jebusite."
The bronzealtar,which[was] beforethe LORD,he broughtfrom the frontof the house,from between[his] altarand the houseof the LORD,and he putit on the northsideof [his] altar.
But Aaronand his sonsofferedon the altarof burntofferingand on the altarof incense,for allthe workof the mostholyplace,and to makeatonementfor Israel,according to allthat Mosesthe servantof Godhad commanded.
Then he madea bronzealtar,twentycubitsin lengthand twentycubitsin widthand tencubitsin height.
Then Jeshuathe sonof Jozadakand his brothersthe priests,and Zerubbabelthe sonof Shealtieland his brothersaroseand builtthe altarof the Godof Israelto offerburntofferingson it, as it is writtenin the lawof Moses,the manof God.
Mosesbuiltan altarand namedit The LORDis My Banner;
Moseswrotedownallthe wordsof the LORD.Then he aroseearlyin the morning,and builtan altarat the footof the mountainwith twelvepillarsfor the twelvetribesof Israel.
the altarof burntofferingalso with allits utensils,and the laverand its stand,
the altarof burntofferingwith its bronzegrating,its poles,and allits utensils,the basinand its stand;
the bronzealtarand its bronzegrating,its polesand allits utensils,the laverand its stand;
"You shall anointthe altarof burntofferingand allits utensils,and consecratethe altar,and the altarshall be mostholy.
He setthe altarof burntoffering[before] the doorwayof the tabernacleof the tentof meeting,and offeredon it the burntofferingand the mealoffering,justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
"You shall setthe altarof burntofferingin frontof the doorwayof the tabernacleof the tentof meeting.
Now their duties[involved] the ark,the table,the lampstand,the altars,and the utensilsof the sanctuarywith whichthey minister,and the screen,and allthe serviceconcerning them;
"Then they shall takeawaythe ashesfrom the altar,and spreada purpleclothoverit.
"They shall also puton it allits utensilsby whichthey servein connectionwith it: the firepans,the forksand shovelsand the basins,allthe utensilsof the altar;and they shall spreada coverof porpoiseskinoverit and insertits poles.
We havean altarfrom whichthosewho servethe tabernaclehavenorightto eat.
