He saidto the people,"Be readyfor the thirdday;do not goneara woman."
Stopdeprivingone another,exceptby agreementfor a time,sothat you may devote yourselvesto prayer,and cometogetheragainsothat Satanwill not temptyou becauseof your lack of self-control.
and let them be readyfor the thirdday,for on the thirddaythe LORDwill comedownon MountSinaiin the sightof allthe people.
Gatherthe people,sanctifythe congregation,Assemblethe elders,Gatherthe childrenand the nursinginfants.Let the bridegroomcomeout of his roomAnd the brideout of her [bridal] chamber.
"For thisreasonyou alsomust be ready;for the Sonof Manis comingat an hourwhenyou do not think[He will].
"But whocan endurethe dayof His coming?And whocan standwhen He appears?For He is like a refiner'sfireand like fullers'soap.
speakingto the priestswhobelong to the houseof the LORDof hosts,and to the prophets,saying,"Shall I weepin the fifthmonthand abstain,as I have donethesemanyyears?"
with the thirdchariotwhitehorses,and with the fourthchariotstrongdappledhorses.
"ThereforethusI will doto you, O Israel;BecauseI will dothisto you, Prepareto meetyour God,O Israel."
So it cameabout on the thirdday,when it was morning,that there were thunderand lightningflashesand a thickcloudupon the mountainand a veryloudtrumpetsound,so that allthe peoplewho[were] in the camptrembled.
So Moseswentdownfrom the mountainto the peopleand consecratedthe people,and they washedtheir garments.
and saidto them, "You are the headsof the fathers'[households] of the Levites;consecrateyourselves both you and your relatives,that you may bringup the arkof the LORDGodof Israelto [the place] that I have preparedfor it.
If a manlieswith a woman[so that] there is a seminalemission,they shall both bathein waterand be uncleanuntilevening.
