But against anyof the sonsof Israela dogwill not [even] bark,whetheragainst manorbeast,that you may understandhowthe LORDmakesa distinctionbetweenEgyptand Israel.'
Pharaoharosein the night,he and allhis servantsand allthe Egyptians,and there was a greatcryin Egypt,for therewas nohomewheretherewas not someone dead.
The LORDsaid,"I have surelyseenthe afflictionof My peoplewhoare in Egypt,and have givenheedto their crybecauseof their taskmasters,for I am awareof their sufferings.
"Behold,about this timetomorrow,I will senda veryheavyhail,suchas has not been[seen] in Egyptfrom the dayit was foundeduntilnow.
He who shutshis earto the cryof the poorWill alsocryhimselfand not be answered.
For the cryof distresshas gonearoundthe territoryof Moab,Its wail[goes] as faras Eglaimand its wailingeven to Beer-elim.
In that daythe Egyptianswill becomelike women,and they will trembleand be in dreadbecauseof the wavingof the handof the LORDof hosts,whichHe is going to waveoverthem.
Thussaysthe LORD,"A voiceis heardin Ramah,Lamentation[and] bitterweeping.Rachelis weepingfor her children;She refusesto be comfortedfor her children,Becausethey are nomore."
EvenwhenI cryout and callfor help,He shutsout my prayer.
"And in allthe vineyards[there is] wailing,BecauseI will passthrough the midstof you," saysthe LORD.
"On that day,"declaresthe LORD,"There will be the soundof a cryfrom the FishGate,A wailfrom the SecondQuarter, And a loudcrashfrom the hills.
"In that placetherewill be weepingand gnashingof teethwhenyou seeAbrahamand Isaacand Jacoband allthe prophetsin the kingdomof God,but yourselvesbeing thrownout.
