So the LORDshifted[the wind] to a verystrongwestwindwhich tookup the locustsand drovethem into the RedSea;not onelocustwas leftin allthe territoryof Egypt.
I am passinglike a shadowwhen it lengthens;I am shakenofflike the locust.
He wentout from Pharaohand madesupplicationto the LORD.
But the LORDhardenedPharaoh'sheart, and he did not letthe sonsof Israelgo.
Hence Godledthe peoplearoundby the wayof the wildernessto the RedSea;and the sonsof Israelwentup in martialarrayfrom the landof Egypt.
"Pharaoh'schariotsand his armyHe has castinto the sea;And the choicestof his officersare drownedin the RedSea.
"But I will removethe northern[army] farfrom you, And I will driveit into a parchedand desolateland,And its vanguardinto the easternsea,And its rearguard into the westernsea. And its stenchwill ariseand its foulsmellwill comeup, For it has donegreatthings."
By faiththey passed throughthe RedSeaas though[they were passing] throughdryland;and the Egyptians, when they attemptedit, were drowned.
