Considerthe workof God,For whois ableto straightenwhatHe has bent?
"IfHe passesby or shutsup, Or callsan assembly,whocan restrainHim?
"Behold,He tearsdown,and it cannotbe rebuilt;He imprisonsa man,and there can be norelease.
When He keepsquiet,whothen can condemn?And when He hidesHis face,whothen can beholdHim, That is, in regardto bothnationand man?--
"Listento this,O Job,Standand considerthe wondersof God.
"Were He to snatchaway,whocould restrainHim? Whocould sayto Him, 'Whatare You doing?'
Whois wise?Let him giveheedto thesethings,And considerthe lovingkindnessesof the LORD.
WhenI considerYour heavens,the workof Your fingers,The moonand the stars,whichYou have ordained;
What is crookedcannotbe straightenedand whatis lackingcannotbe counted.
He has madeeverythingappropriatein its time.He has alsoseteternityin their heart,yetsothat manwill not findout the workwhichGodhas donefrom the beginningeven to the end.
and I saweveryworkof God,[I concluded] that mancannotdiscoverthe workwhichhas been doneunderthe sun.Even thoughmanshould seeklaboriously,he will not discover;and thoughthe wisemanshould say,"I know,"he cannotdiscover.
"For the LORDof hostshas planned,and whocan frustrate[it]? And as for His stretched-outhand,whocan turnit back?"
"Evenfrom eternityI am He, And thereis nonewho can deliverout of My hand;I actand whocan reverseit?"
Their banquetsare [accompanied] by lyreand harp,by tambourineand flute,and by wine;But they do not payattentionto the deedsof the LORD,Nordo they considerthe workof His hands.
"Allthe inhabitantsof the earthare accountedas nothing,But He doesaccordingto His willin the hostof heavenAnd [among] the inhabitantsof earth;And noone can wardoffHis handOr sayto Him, 'Whathave You done?'
"Ifthenyou cannotdo evena very little thing,whydo you worryaboutother matters?
For He saysto Moses,"I WILL HAVEMERCYON WHOMI HAVE MERCY,AND I WILL HAVECOMPASSIONON WHOMI HAVE COMPASSION."
You will sayto me then,"Whydoes He stillfind fault?For whoresistsHis will?"
alsowe have obtained an inheritance,having been predestinedaccordingto His purposewho worksall thingsafterthe counselof His will,
