I saidto myself,"Behold,I have magnifiedand increasedwisdommorethanallwhowere overJerusalembeforeme; and my mindhas observeda wealthof wisdomand knowledge."
"Nevertheless I did not believethe reports,untilI cameand my eyeshad seenit. And behold,the halfwas not toldme. You exceed[in] wisdomand prosperitythe reportwhichI heard.

Then I saidto myself,"As is the fateof the fool,it will alsobefallme. Whythenhave I beenextremelywise?"So I saidto myself,"Thistoois vanity."
Then I becamegreatand increasedmorethanallwhoprecededme in Jerusalem.My wisdomalsostoodby me.
I saidto myself,"Godwill judgeboth the righteousmanand the wickedman,"for a timefor everymatterand for everydeedis there.
Who says,I will buildmyself a roomyhouseWith spaciousupperrooms,And cutout its windows,Paneling[it] with cedarand painting[it] brightred.'
"The kingreflectedand said,'Is thisnot Babylonthe great,whichI myselfhave builtas a royalresidenceby the mightof my powerand for the gloryof my majesty?'
But solidfoodis for the mature,who becauseof practicehavetheir sensestrainedto discerngoodand evil.
