But Abishaithe sonof Zeruiahhelpedhim, and struckthe Philistineand killedhim. Thenthe menof Davidsworeto him, saying,"You shall not goout againwith us to battle,sothat you do not extinguishthe lampof Israel."
"Now,O LORDmy God,You have madeYour servantkingin placeof my fatherDavid,yet I am but a littlechild;I do not knowhow to goout or comein.
As for the daysof our life,they contain seventyyears,Or ifdue to strength,eightyyears,Yet their prideis [but] laborand sorrow;For soonit is goneand we flyaway.
Moseswas eightyyearsoldand Aaroneighty-three,when they spoketo Pharaoh.
But the LORDsaidto Mosesand Aaron,"Becauseyou have not believedMe, to treatMe as holyin the sightof the sonsof Israel,thereforeyou shall not bringthisassemblyinto the landwhichI have giventhem."
whowill goout and comein beforethem, and whowill leadthem out and bringthem in, so that the congregationof the LORDwill not be like sheepwhichhavenoshepherd."
"And now,behold,I knowthat allof you, amongwhomI went aboutpreachingthe kingdom,will no longerseemy face.
"But whenhe was approachingthe ageof forty,it enteredhis mindto visithis brethren,the sonsof Israel.
"The LORDwas angrywith me alsoon your account,saying,Not evenyou shall enterthere.
So Moseswentand spokethesewordsto allIsrael.
Although Moseswas one hundredand twentyyearsoldwhen he died,his eyewas not dim,norhis vigorabated.
