whodeliveredus from so greata [peril of] death,and will deliver[us], He on whomwe have set our hope.And He will yetdeliverus,
ThereforeI am well contentwith weaknesses,with insults,with distresses,with persecutions,with difficulties,for Christ'ssake;for whenI am weak,thenI amstrong.
Nowto Him who is ableto dofar more abundantlybeyondallthat we askorthink,accordingto the powerthat workswithinus,
untilthe LORDgivesrestto your fellowcountrymenas to you, and they alsopossessthe landwhichthe LORDyour Godwill givethem beyondthe Jordan.Then you may returneverymanto his possessionwhichI have givenyou.'
Do not fearthem, for the LORDyour Godis the one fightingfor you.'
the greattrialswhichyour eyessawand the signsand the wondersand the mightyhandand the outstretchedarmby whichthe LORDyour Godbroughtyou out. Soshall the LORDyour Goddoto allthe peoplesof whomyou are afraid.
Joshuathen saidto them, "Do not fearor be dismayed!Be strongand courageous,for thusthe LORDwill doto allyour enemieswith whomyou fight."
