Is it not lawfulfor me to dowhatI wishwith whatis my own?Oris your eyeenviousbecauseI amgenerous?'

"Then you shall eatthe offspringof your own body,the fleshof your sonsand of your daughterswhomthe LORDyour Godhas givenyou, during the siegeand the distressby whichyour enemywill oppressyou.
sothat he will not give[even] oneof them anyof the fleshof his childrenwhichhe will eat,sincehe has nothing[else] left,during the siegeand the distressby whichyour enemywill oppressyou in allyour towns.
