"Ifits owneris with it, he shall not makerestitution;ifit is hired,it camefor its hire.
"Ifa manseducesa virginwhois not engaged,and lieswith her, he must paya dowryfor her [to be] his wife.
"It shall be, ifyou are not pleasedwith her, then you shall lether gowherever she wishes;but you shall certainlynot sellher for money,you shall not mistreather, becauseyou have humbledher.
and they shall finehim a hundred[shekels] of silverand giveit to the girl'sfather,becausehe publiclydefameda virginof Israel.And she shall remainhis wife;he cannotdivorceher allhis days.
then you shall bringthem bothout to the gateof that cityand you shall stonethem to death;the girl,becauseshe did not cryout in the city,and the man,becausehe has violatedhis neighbor'swife.Thus you shall purgethe evilfrom amongyou.
"Ifa manfindsa girlwho is a virgin,whois not engaged,and seizesher and lieswith her and they are discovered,
"A manshall not takehis father'swifeso that he will not uncoverhis father'sskirt.
