"Then I chargedyour judgesat that time,saying,'Hear[the cases] betweenyour fellowcountrymen,and judgerighteouslybetweena manand his fellowcountryman,or the alienwho is with him.
"Do not judgeaccordingto appearance,but judgewith righteousjudgment."
There shall be onestandardfor you; it shall be for the strangeras well as the native,for I am the LORDyour God.'"
"You shall not wronga strangeror oppresshim, for you were strangersin the landof Egypt.
Instructthosewho are richin thispresentworldnot to be conceitedorto fix their hopeon the uncertaintyof riches,but on God,who richlysuppliesus with all thingsto enjoy.
I solemnly chargeyou in the presenceof Godand of ChristJesusand of [His] chosenangels,to maintainthese[principles] withoutbias,doingnothingin a [spirit of] partiality.
Do you indeedspeakrighteousness,O gods?Do you judgeuprightly,O sonsof men?

Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"Behold,the timefor you to dieis near;callJoshua,and presentyourselves at the tentof meeting,that I may commissionhim." So Mosesand Joshuawentand presentedthemselves at the tentof meeting.
Mosesalso chargedthe peopleon that day,saying,
"You shall not oppressa hiredservant[who is] poorand needy,whether[he is] one of your countrymenorone of your alienswhois in your landin your towns.
and have him standbeforeEleazarthe priestand beforeallthe congregation,and commissionhim in their sight.
You shall donoinjusticein judgment;you shall not be partialto the poornordeferto the great,but you are to judgeyour neighborfairly.
justas you knowhowwe [were] exhortingand encouragingand imploringeachoneof you as a father[would] his ownchildren,
"Farbe it from You to dosucha thing,to slaythe righteouswith the wicked,so that the righteousand the wickedare [treated] alike. Farbe it from You! Shall not the Judgeof allthe earthdealjustly?"
"So I tookthe headsof your tribes,wiseand experiencedmen,and appointedthem headsoveryou, leadersof thousandsand of hundreds,of fiftiesand of tens,and officersfor your tribes.
"Ifthere is a disputebetweenmenand they goto court,and the judgesdecidetheir case, and they justifythe righteousand condemnthe wicked,
Openyour mouth,judgerighteously,And defendthe rightsof the afflictedand needy.
