So he ledJehoiachinawayinto exileto Babylon;also the king'smotherand the king'swivesand his officialsand the leadingmenof the land,he ledaway into exilefrom Jerusalemto Babylon.
Behold,the daysare comingwhen allthat is in your houseand all that your fathershave laidup in storeto thisdaywill be carriedto Babylon;nothingwill be left,'saysthe LORD.
And [some] of your sonswhowill issuefrom you, whomyou will beget,will be takenaway, and they will becomeofficialsin the palaceof the kingof Babylon.'"
In the seventhmonthIshmaelthe sonof Nethaniah,the sonof Elishama,of the royalfamilyand [one] of the chiefofficersof the king,along with tenmen,cameto Mizpahto Gedaliahthe sonof Ahikam.While they were eatingbreadtogethertherein Mizpah,
