SoAnaniasdepartedand enteredthe house,and after layinghis handson him said,"BrotherSaul,the LordJesus,who appearedto you on the roadby whichyou were coming,has sentme sothat you may regain your sightand be filledwith the HolySpirit."
Thenthey [began] layingtheir handson them, and they were receivingthe HolySpirit.
And thesethey broughtbeforethe apostles;and after praying,they laidtheir handson them.
And they were allfilledwith the HolySpiritand beganto speakwith othertongues,as the Spiritwas givingthem utterance.
Do not layhandsupon anyone[too] hastilyand therebyshare[responsibility for] the sinsof others;keepyourselffree from sin.
And the discipleswere continually filledwith joyand with the HolySpirit.
of instructionabout washingsand layingon of hands,and the resurrectionof the deadand eternaljudgment.
no longeras a slave,but more thana slave,a belovedbrother,especiallyto me, but how muchmoreto you, bothin the fleshand in the Lord.
For thisreasonI remindyou to kindle afreshthe giftof Godwhichis in you throughthe layingon of my hands.
Do not neglectthe spiritual giftwithinyou, whichwas bestowedon you throughprophetic utterancewith the layingon of handsby the presbytery.
The firstmanis from the earth,earthy;the secondmanis from heaven.
and lastof all,as to one untimely born,He appearedto me also.
Therefore,acceptone another,justas Christalsoacceptedus to the gloryof God.
"And I said,'Whoare You, Lord?'And the Lordsaid,'I amJesuswhomyou are persecuting.
And when they heardit they [began] glorifyingGod;and they saidto him, "You see,brother,how manythousandsthere are amongthe Jewsof thosewho have believed,and they are allzealousfor the Law;
And when Paulhad laidhis handsupon them, the HolySpiritcameon them, and they [began] speakingwith tonguesand prophesying.
Then,when they had fastedand prayedand laidtheir handson them, they sent them away.
"The wordwhichHe sentto the sonsof Israel,preachingpeacethroughJesusChrist(He is Lordof all)--
And when they had prayed,the placewherethey had gathered togetherwas shaken,and they were allfilledwith the HolySpiritand [began] to speakthe wordof Godwith boldness.
But we hadto celebrateand rejoice,for thisbrotherof yourswas deadand [has begun] to live,and [was] lostand has been found.'"
but whenthissonof yourscame,who has devouredyour wealthwith prostitutes,you killedthe fattenedcalffor him.'
for todayin the cityof Davidthere has been bornfor you a Savior,whois Christthe Lord.
"And you, child,will be calledthe prophetof the Most High;For you will goon BEFORETHE LORDTO PREPAREHIS WAYS;
And He coulddonomiraclethereexceptthat He laidHis handson a fewsick peopleand healedthem.
Then[some] childrenwere broughtto Him sothat He might layHis handson them and pray;and the disciplesrebukedthem.
Then Josephsaidto his brothers,"Pleasecomecloserto me." And they camecloser.And he said,"I am your brotherJoseph,whomyou soldinto Egypt.
and imploredHim earnestly,saying,"My little daughteris at the point of death;[please] comeand layYour handson her, sothat she will get welland live."
WhenElizabethheardMary'sgreeting,the babyleapedin her womb;and Elizabethwas filledwith the HolySpirit.
And his fatherZachariaswas filledwith the HolySpirit,and prophesied,saying:
And immediatelythere fellfrom his eyessomething likescales,and he regained his sight,and he gotup and was baptized;
AmI not free?AmI not an apostle?Have I not seenJesusour Lord?Are you not my workin the Lord?
and regardthe patienceof our Lord[as] salvation;justas alsoour belovedbrotherPaul,accordingto the wisdomgivenhim, wroteto you,
