And it happenedthat the fatherof Publiuswas lying[in bed] afflictedwith [recurrent] feverand dysentery;and Paulwentin [to see] him and after he had prayed,he laidhis handson him and healedhim.
Jesus summonedHis twelvedisciplesand gavethem authorityover uncleanspirits,to castthem out, and to healeverykindof diseaseand every kindof sickness.
"Heal[the] sick,raise[the] dead,cleanse[the] lepers,castout demons.Freelyyou received,freelygive.
ThenHe saidto the man,"Stretchout your hand!"He stretchedit out, and it was restoredto normal,likethe other.
While He was sayingthese thingsto them, a [synagogue] officialcameand bowed down beforeHim, and said,"My daughterhas justdied;but comeand layYour handon her, and she will live."
they will pickup serpents,and ifthey drinkanydeadly[poison], it will not hurtthem; they will layhandson the sick,and they will recover."
and imploredHim earnestly,saying,"My little daughteris at the point of death;[please] comeand layYour handson her, sothat she will get welland live."
And He coulddonomiraclethereexceptthat He laidHis handson a fewsick peopleand healedthem.
They broughtto Him one who was deafand spoke with difficulty,and they imploredHim to layHis handon him.
And He laidHis handson her; and immediatelyshe was made erect againand [began] glorifyingGod.
While the sunwas setting,allthose whohadany [who were] sickwith variousdiseasesbroughtthem to Him; and layingHis handson eachoneof them, He was healingthem.
Nowin the neighborhoodof that placewere landsbelonging to the leading manof the island,namedPublius,whowelcomedus and entertainedus courteouslythreedays.
After thishad happened,the restof the people on the islandwho haddiseaseswere comingto him and getting cured.
But Petersentthem allout and kneltdownand prayed,and turningto the body,he said,"Tabitha,arise."And she openedher eyes,and when she sawPeter,she satup.
And Godhas appointedin the church,firstapostles,secondprophets,thirdteachers,thenmiracles,thengiftsof healings,helps,administrations,[various] kindsof tongues.
to anotherfaithby the sameSpirit,and to anothergiftsof healingby the oneSpirit,
