Sowhen they were sent away,they went downto Antioch;and having gatheredthe congregationtogether,they deliveredthe letter.
So thenthosewho were scatteredbecauseof the persecutionthat occurredin connectionwith Stephenmade their wayto Phoeniciaand Cyprusand Antioch,speakingthe wordto no oneexceptto Jewsalone.
But there were someof them, menof Cyprusand Cyrene,whocameto Antiochand [began] speakingto the Greeksalso,preachingthe LordJesus.
Nowat thistimesome prophetscame downfrom Jerusalemto Antioch.
Thenit seemed goodto the apostlesand the elders,with the wholechurch,to choosemenfrom amongthem to sendto Antiochwith Pauland Barnabas--JudascalledBarsabbas,and Silas,leadingmenamongthe brethren,
When they had readit, they rejoicedbecauseof its encouragement.
Nowwhilethey were passing throughthe cities,they were deliveringthe decreeswhich had been decidedupon by the apostlesand elderswhowere in Jerusalem,for them to observe.
"What,then,is [to be done]? They will certainlyhearthat you have come.
When thesehad cometo Caesareaand deliveredthe letterto the governor,they alsopresentedPaulto him.
Sothe twelvesummonedthe congregationof the disciplesand said,"It is not desirablefor us to neglectthe wordof Godin order to servetables.
