"[You know of] Jesusof Nazareth,howGodanointedHim with the HolySpiritand with power,and [how] He went aboutdoing goodand healingallwho were oppressedby the devil,for Godwas with Him.
They taughtin Judah,[having] the bookof the lawof the LORDwith them; and they wentthroughoutallthe citiesof Judahand taughtamong the people.
The kingsof the earthtaketheir standAnd the rulerstakecounseltogetherAgainstthe LORDand againstHis Anointed,saying,
"But as for Me, I have installedMy KingUpon Zion,My holymountain."
You have lovedrighteousnessand hatedwickedness;ThereforeGod,Your God,has anointedYou With the oilof joyaboveYour fellows.
The Spiritof the LORDwill reston Him, The spiritof wisdomand understanding,The spiritof counseland strength,The spiritof knowledgeand the fearof the LORD.
"Behold,My Servant,whom I uphold;My chosenone [in whom] My souldelights.I have putMy Spiritupon Him; He will bringforthjusticeto the nations.
But Jesus,awareof [this], withdrewfrom there.ManyfollowedHim, and He healedthem all,
"But ifI castout demonsby the Spiritof God,thenthe kingdomof Godhas comeupon you.
Jesusgotup and [began] to followhim, and [so did] His disciples.
Jesuswas going throughallthe citiesand villages,teachingin their synagoguesand proclaimingthe gospelof the kingdom,and healingeverykindof diseaseand every kindof sickness.
And He wonderedat their unbelief.And He was going aroundthe villagesteaching.
and the HolySpiritdescendedupon Him in bodilyformlikea dove,and a voicecameout of heaven,"You are My belovedSon,in You I am well-pleased."
"THE SPIRITOF THE LORDIS UPON ME, BECAUSEHE ANOINTEDME TO PREACH THE GOSPELTO THE POOR.HE HAS SENTME TO PROCLAIMRELEASETO THE CAPTIVES,AND RECOVERY OF SIGHTTO THE BLIND,TO SETFREETHOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED,
While he was stillapproaching,the demonslammedhim [to the ground] and threw him into a convulsion.But Jesusrebukedthe uncleanspirit,and healedthe boyand gave him backto his father.

Jesusansweredthem, "I showedyou manygoodworksfrom the Father;for whichof them are you stoningMe?"
"Behold,an houris coming,and has [already] come,for you to be scattered,eachto his own[home], and to leaveMe alone;and [yet] I amnot alone,becausethe Fatheris with Me.
this mancameto Jesus by nightand saidto Him, "Rabbi,we knowthat You have comefrom God[as] a teacher;for no onecandothesesignsthat You dounlessGodis with him."
"For He whomGodhas sentspeaksthe wordsof God;for He givesthe Spiritwithoutmeasure.
"Do not workfor the foodwhich perishes,but for the foodwhich enduresto eternallife,whichthe Sonof Manwill giveto you, for on Him the Father,God,has set His seal."
you yourselvesknowthe thingwhich took placethroughoutallJudea,startingfrom Galilee,afterthe baptismwhichJohnproclaimed.
"Menof Israel,listento thesewords:Jesusthe Nazarene,a manattestedto you by Godwith miraclesand wondersand signswhichGodperformedthroughHim in your midst,justas you yourselvesknow--
"YOU HAVE LOVEDRIGHTEOUSNESSAND HATEDLAWLESSNESS;THEREFOREGOD,YOUR GOD,HAS ANOINTEDYOU WITH THE OILOF GLADNESSABOVEYOUR COMPANIONS."
Be of sober[spirit], be on the alert.Your adversary,the devil,prowls aroundlikea roaringlion,seekingsomeoneto devour.
But you havean anointingfrom the Holy One,and you allknow.
the one who practicessinis of the devil;for the devilhas sinnedfrom the beginning.The Sonof Godappearedfor thispurpose, to destroythe worksof the devil.
