Whateveryour handfindsto do,do[it] with [all] your might;for thereis noactivityor planningor knowledgeor wisdomin Sheolwhereyou are going.
At thistimePeterstoodup in the midstof the brethren(a gatheringof aboutone hundredand twentypersonswas there together),and said,
"That is whyI camewithoutevenraising any objectionwhen I was sentfor. SoI askfor whatreasonyou have sentfor me."
"SoI sentfor you immediately,and you have been kind enoughto come.Nowthen,we are allhere presentbeforeGodto hearallthat you have been commandedby the Lord."
Allthe circumcisedbelieverswhocamewith Peterwere amazed,becausethe giftof the HolySpirithad been pouredout on the Gentilesalso.
"The Spirittoldme to gowith them withoutmisgivings.Thesesixbrethrenalsowentwith me and we enteredthe man'shouse.
And the brethren,when they heardaboutus, camefrom thereas faras the Marketof Appiusand ThreeInnsto meetus; and when Paulsawthem, he thankedGodand tookcourage.
Nowin Joppathere was a disciplenamedTabitha(whichtranslated[in Greek] is calledDorcas);this womanwas aboundingwith deedsof kindnessand charitywhichshe continually did.
Since Lyddawas nearJoppa,the disciples,having heardthat Peterwas there,senttwomento him, imploringhim, "Do not delayin comingto us."
It becameknownalloverJoppa,and manybelievedin the Lord.
for we have regardfor what is honorable,not onlyin the sightof the Lord,but alsoin the sightof men.
Do not neglectto show hospitality to strangers,for by thissomehave entertainedangelswithout knowingit.
Be hospitableto one anotherwithoutcomplaint.
