[So] we havethe propheticword[made] more sure,to whichyou dowellto pay attentionas to a lampshiningin a darkplace,untilthe daydawnsand the morning stararisesin your hearts.

The peoplewho walkin darknessWill seea greatlight;Those who livein a darkland,The lightwill shineon them.

ThenJesusagainspoketo them, saying,"I amthe Lightof the world;he who followsMe will not walkin the darkness,but will havethe Lightof life."
The one who believesin the Sonof Godhasthe testimonyin himself;the one who does not believeGodhas madeHim a liar,becausehe has not believedin the testimonythat Godhas givenconcerningHis Son.
As to thissalvation,the prophetswho prophesiedof the gracethat [would come] to you madecarefulsearchesand inquiries,
If,however,you are fulfillingthe royallawaccordingto the Scripture,"YOU SHALL LOVEYOUR NEIGHBORAS YOURSELF,"you are doingwell.
Nowthesewere more noble-mindedthan thosein Thessalonica,for they receivedthe wordwith greateagerness,examiningthe Scripturesdaily[to see] whetherthese thingswere so.
that you abstainfrom things sacrificed to idolsand from bloodand from things strangledand from fornication;if you keepyourselvesfreefrom suchthings,you will dowell.Farewell."
and they have testifiedto your lovebeforethe church.You will dowellto send them on their wayin a manner worthyof God.
Whohas declared[this] from the beginning,that we might know?Or from formertimes,that we may say,"[He is] right!"?Surelytherewas noonewho declared,Surelytherewas noonewho proclaimed,Surelytherewas noonewho heardyour words.
"Howyou have fallenfrom heaven,O starof the morning,sonof the dawn!You have been cutdownto the earth,You who have weakenedthe nations!
For ifthe wordspokenthroughangelsprovedunalterable,and everytransgressionand disobediencereceiveda justpenalty,
