Then SolomonbroughtPharaoh'sdaughterup from the cityof Davidto the housewhichhe had builtfor her, for he said,"My wifeshall not dwellin the houseof Davidkingof Israel,becausethe placesare holywherethe arkof the LORDhas entered."
Then Solomonformeda marriagealliancewith Pharaohkingof Egypt,and tookPharaoh'sdaughterand broughther to the cityof Daviduntilhe had finishedbuildinghis own houseand the houseof the LORDand the wallaroundJerusalem.
His housewherehe was to live,the othercourtinwardfrom the hall,was of the sameworkmanship.He also madea houselike thishallfor Pharaoh'sdaughter,whomSolomonhad married.
As soonas Pharaoh'sdaughtercameup from the cityof Davidto her housewhich[Solomon] had builtfor her, thenhe builtthe Millo.
Thesewere the chiefofficersof KingSolomon,two hundredand fiftywho ruledover the people.
"I will meettherewith the sonsof Israel,and it shall be consecratedby My glory.
Then He said,"Do not comenearhere;removeyour sandalsfrom your feet,for the placeon whichyou are standingis holyground."
"Sonof man,setyour facetowardJerusalem,and speakagainstthe sanctuariesand prophesyagainstthe landof Israel;
and we ourselvesheardthisutterancemadefrom heavenwhen we were with Him on the holymountain.
