He said,"O LORD,the Godof Israel,thereis nogodlikeYou in heavenor on earth,keepingcovenantand [showing] lovingkindnessto Your servantswho walkbeforeYou with alltheir heart;
Now when Abramwas ninety-nineyearsold,the LORDappearedto Abramand saidto him, "I am GodAlmighty;WalkbeforeMe, and be blameless.
Then he erectedtherean altarand calledit El-Elohe-Israel.
Godsaidto him, "Your nameis Jacob;You shall nolongerbe calledJacob,But Israelshall be your name."Thus He calledhim Israel.
Enochwalkedwith God;and he was not, for Godtookhim.
"For thisreasonYou are great,O LordGOD;for thereis nonelikeYou, and thereis noGodbesidesYou, according to allthat we have heardwith our ears.
At the timeof the offeringof the [evening] sacrifice,Elijahthe prophetcamenearand said,"O LORD,the Godof Abraham,Isaacand Israel,todaylet it be knownthat You are Godin Israeland that I am Your servantand I have doneallthesethingsat Your word.
Then Solomonsaid,"You have showngreatlovingkindnessto Your servantDavidmy father,accordingas he walkedbeforeYou in truthand righteousnessand uprightnessof hearttowardYou; and You have reservedfor him thisgreatlovingkindness,that You have givenhim a sonto siton his throne,as [it is] thisday.
"[Concerning] thishousewhichyou are building,ifyou will walkin My statutesand executeMy ordinancesand keepallMy commandmentsby walkingin them, then I will carryout My wordwith you whichI spoketo Davidyour father.
He said,"O LORD,the Godof Israel,thereis noGodlikeYou in heavenaboveor on earthbeneath,keepingcovenantand [showing] lovingkindnessto Your servantswho walkbeforeYou with alltheir heart,
So Davidblessedthe LORDin the sightof allthe assembly;and Davidsaid,"Blessedare You, O LORDGodof Israelour father,foreverand ever.
Then Davidsaidto allthe assembly,"Nowblessthe LORDyour God."And allthe assemblyblessedthe LORD,the Godof their fathers,and bowedlowand didhomageto the LORDand to the king.
and he said,"O LORD,the Godof our fathers,are You not Godin the heavens?And are You not ruleroverallthe kingdomsof the nations?Powerand mightare in Your handso that noonecan standagainstYou.
"Nowtherefore, O LORD,the Godof Israel,let Your wordbe confirmedwhichYou have spokento Your servantDavid.
I said,"I beseechYou, O LORDGodof heaven,the greatand awesomeGod,who preservesthe covenantand lovingkindnessfor those who loveHim and keepHis commandments,
Thereis noonelikeYou among the gods,O Lord,Norare thereany workslike Yours.
"My lovingkindnessI will keepfor him forever,And My covenantshall be confirmedto him.
For whoin the skiesis comparableto the LORD?Who among the sonsof the mightyis likethe LORD,
O LORDGodof hosts,whois likeYou, O mightyLORD?Your faithfulnessalso surroundsYou.
"Whois likeYou among the gods,O LORD?Whois likeYou, majesticin holiness,Awesomein praises,workingwonders?
God,furthermore,saidto Moses,"Thusyou shall sayto the sonsof Israel,The LORD,the Godof your fathers,the Godof Abraham,the Godof Isaac,and the Godof Jacob,has sentme to you.' Thisis My nameforever,and thisis My memorial-nameto allgenerations.
So Aaronstretchedout his handoverthe watersof Egypt,and the frogscameup and coveredthe landof Egypt.
The portionof Jacobis not like these;For the Makerof allis He, And Israelis the tribeof His inheritance;The LORDof hostsis His name.
Thereis nonelikeYou, O LORD;You are great,and greatis Your namein might.
I prayedto the LORDmy Godand confessedand said,"Alas,O Lord,the greatand awesomeGod,who keepsHis covenantand lovingkindnessfor those who loveHim and keepHis commandments,
"AND HIS MERCYIS UPON GENERATIONAFTERGENERATIONTOWARD THOSEWHO FEARHIM.
They were bothrighteousin the sightof God,walkingblamelesslyin allthe commandmentsand requirementsof the Lord.
To showmercytowardour fathers,And to rememberHis holycovenant,
O LordGOD,You have begunto showYour servantYour greatnessand Your stronghand;for whatgodis there in heavenor on earthwhocan dosuch worksand mightyactsas Yours?
"Knowtherefore today,and takeit to your heart,that the LORD,He is Godin heavenaboveand on the earthbelow;thereis noother.
"Knowtherefore that the LORDyour God,He is God,the faithfulGod,who keepsHis covenantand His lovingkindnessto a thousandthgenerationwith those who loveHim and keepHis commandments;
sothat you would walkin a manner worthyof the Godwho callsyou into His ownkingdomand glory.
