So Hezekiahsleptwith his fathers,and they buriedhim in the uppersectionof the tombsof the sonsof David;and allJudahand the inhabitantsof Jerusalemhonoredhim at his death.And his sonManassehbecamekingin his place.
"Otherwise it will comeabout, as soon as my lordthe kingsleepswith his fathers,that I and my sonSolomonwill be considered offenders."
And Solomonsleptwith his fathersand was buriedin the cityof his fatherDavid,and his sonRehoboamreignedin his place.
Then Davidsleptwith his fathersand was buriedin the cityof David.
So Hezekiahsleptwith his fathers,and Manassehhis sonbecamekingin his place.
They buriedhim in his own tombwhichhe had cutout for himself in the cityof David,and they laidhim in the restingplacewhichhe had filledwith spicesof various kindsblendedby the perfumers'art;and they madea verygreatfirefor him.
Now the restof the actsof Hezekiahand his deedsof devotion,behold,they are writtenin the visionof Isaiahthe prophet,the sonof Amoz,in the Bookof the Kingsof Judahand Israel.
So his servantstookhim out of the chariotand carriedhim in the secondchariotwhichhe had, and broughthim to Jerusalemwhere he diedand was buriedin the tombsof his fathers.AllJudahand Jerusalemmournedfor Josiah.
For he will neverbe shaken;The righteouswill be rememberedforever.
The memoryof the righteousis blessed,But the nameof the wickedwill rot.
When allthe congregationsawthat Aaronhad died,allthe houseof Israelweptfor Aaronthirtydays.
So the sonsof Israelweptfor Mosesin the plainsof Moabthirtydays;then the daysof weeping[and] mourningfor Mosescameto an end.
"Thereforethe LORDGodof Israeldeclares,I did indeedsaythat your houseand the houseof your fathershould walkbeforeMe forever;but nowthe LORDdeclares,'Farbe it from Me-- for those who honorMe I will honor,and those who despiseMe will be lightlyesteemed.
Then Samueldied;and allIsraelgatheredtogether and mournedfor him, and buriedhim at his housein Ramah.And Davidaroseand wentdownto the wildernessof Paran.
