"Should anyoneriseup to pursueyou and to seekyour life,then the lifeof my lordshall be boundin the bundleof the livingwith the LORDyour God;but the livesof your enemiesHe will slingout as from the hollowof a sling.
"He keepsthe feetof His godlyones,But the wickedonesare silencedin darkness;For not by mightshall a manprevail.
"Now, my father,see!Indeed,seethe edgeof your robein my hand!For in that I cutoffthe edgeof your robeand did not killyou, knowand perceivethat thereis noevilor rebellionin my hands,and I have not sinnedagainst you, though you are lyingin waitfor my lifeto takeit.
"Behold,I am going to sendfor manyfishermen,"declaresthe LORD,"and they will fishfor them; and afterwardsI will sendfor manyhunters,and they will huntthem from everymountainand everyhilland from the cleftsof the rocks.
My enemieswithoutcauseHuntedme downlike a bird;
"The LORDtherefore be judgeand decidebetweenyou and me; and may He seeand pleadmy causeand deliverme from your hand."
