So Davidtookthe spearand the jugof waterfrom [beside] Saul'shead,and they wentaway, but noonesawor knew[it], nordid any awake,for they were allasleep,becausea soundsleepfrom the LORDhad fallenon them.
Davidcalledto the peopleand to Abnerthe sonof Ner,saying,"Will you not answer,Abner?"Then Abnerreplied,"Whoare you who callsto the king?"
