Then oneof the youngmensaid,"Behold,I have seena sonof Jessethe Bethlehemitewho is a skillfulmusician,a mightymanof valor,a warrior,one prudentin speech,and a handsomeman;and the LORDis with him."
The LORDwas with Joseph,so he becamea successfulman.And he was in the houseof his master,the Egyptian.
The chiefjailerdid not superviseanythingunder Joseph's chargebecausethe LORDwas with him; and whateverhe did,the LORDmade to prosper.
in orderto changethe appearanceof thingsyour servantJoabhas donethisthing.But my lordis wise,like the wisdomof the angelof God,to knowallthat is in the earth."
"And eventhe onewho is valiant,whoseheartis like the heartof a lion,will completelyloseheart;for allIsraelknowsthat your fatheris a mightymanand those whoare with him are valiantmen.
Moreover, Hushaisaid,"You knowyour fatherand his men,that they are mightymenand they are fierce,like a bearrobbedof her cubsin the field.And your fatheris an expertin warfare,and will not spendthe nightwith the people.
A manwill be praisedaccordingto his insight,But one of perversemindwill be despised.

So Saulsaidto his servants,"Providefor me nowa manwho can playwelland bring[him] to me."
So Saulsentmessengersto Jesseand said,"Sendme your sonDavidwhois with the flock."
Now Davidwas the sonof the Ephrathiteof Bethlehemin Judah,whose namewas Jesse,and he had eightsons.And Jesse was oldin the daysof Saul,advanced[in years] among men.
Thus Samuelgrewand the LORDwas with him and let noneof his wordsfail.
