Then the messengerscameto Gibeahof Sauland spokethese wordsin the hearingof the people,and allthe peopleliftedup their voicesand wept.
Esausaidto his father,"Do you have only oneblessing,my father?Blessme, [even] me also,O my father."So Esauliftedhis voiceand wept.
let sevenmenfrom his sonsbe givento us, and we will hangthem before the LORDin Gibeahof Saul,the chosenof the LORD."And the kingsaid,"I will give[them]."
The chiefwas Ahiezer,then Joash,the sonsof Shemaahthe Gibeathite;and Jezieland Pelet,the sonsof Azmaveth,and Beracahand Jehuthe Anathothite,
Rejoicewith those who rejoice,and weepwith those who weep.
And ifonemembersuffers,allthe memberssufferwith it; if[one] memberis honored,allthe membersrejoicewith it.
Bearone another'sburdens,and therebyfulfillthe lawof Christ.
Rememberthe prisoners,as thoughin prisonwith them, [and] thosewho are ill-treated,sinceyou yourselvesalsoare in the body.
When the angelof the LORDspokethesewordsto allthe sonsof Israel,the peopleliftedup their voicesand wept.
The sonsof Israelwentup and weptbeforethe LORDuntilevening,and inquiredof the LORD,saying,"Shall we againdrawnearfor battleagainstthe sonsof my brotherBenjamin?"And the LORDsaid,"Goup againsthim."
Then allthe sonsof Israeland allthe peoplewentup and cameto Betheland wept;thus they remainedtherebeforethe LORDand fastedthat dayuntilevening.And they offeredburntofferingsand peaceofferingsbeforethe LORD.
So the peoplecameto Betheland sattherebeforeGoduntilevening,and liftedup their voicesand weptbitterly.
Saulalsowentto his houseat Gibeah;and the valiant[men] whoseheartsGodhad touchedwentwith him.
Saulwas stayingin the outskirtsof Gibeahunderthe pomegranatetreewhichis in Migron.And the peoplewho[were] with him [were] about sixhundredmen,
Then Samuelwentto Ramah,but Saulwentup to his houseat Gibeahof Saul.
Then Davidand the peoplewhowere with him liftedtheir voicesand weptuntiltherewas nostrengthin them to weep.
