Then the headsof fathers'[households] of Judahand Benjaminand the priestsand the Levitesarose,even everyonewhose spiritGodhad stirredto goup and rebuildthe houseof the LORDwhichis in Jerusalem.
Your peoplewill volunteerfreelyin the dayof Your power;In holyarray,from the wombof the dawn,Your youthare to You [as] the dew.
They have gonethroughthe pass,[saying], "Gebawill be our lodgingplace."Ramahis terrified,and Gibeahof Saulhas fledaway.
When the Gentilesheardthis, they [began] rejoicingand glorifyingthe wordof the Lord;and as manyas had beenappointedto eternallifebelieved.
and rescuedhim from allhis afflictions,and grantedhim favorand wisdomin the sightof Pharaoh,kingof Egypt,and he madehim governoroverEgyptand allhis household.
and Zelah,Haelephand the Jebusite(that is, Jerusalem),Gibeah,Kiriath;fourteencitieswith their villages.Thisis the inheritanceof the sonsof Benjaminaccording to their families.
The sonsof Benjamingatheredfrom the citiesto Gibeah,to goout to battleagainstthe sonsof Israel.
Then the messengerscameto Gibeahof Sauland spokethese wordsin the hearingof the people,and allthe peopleliftedup their voicesand wept.
Now Saulchosefor himself 3,000men of Israel,of which 2,000were with Saulin Michmashand in the hillcountryof Bethel,while 1,000were with Jonathanat Gibeahof Benjamin.But he sentawaythe restof the people,eachto his tent.
