Now threetimesin a yearSolomonofferedburntofferingsand peaceofferingson the altarwhichhe builtto the LORD,burningincensewith them [on the altar] which[was] beforethe LORD.So he finishedthe house.
So Solomonbuiltthe houseand finishedit.
In the eleventhyear,in the monthof Bul,whichis the eighthmonth,the housewas finishedthroughout allits partsand according to allits plans.So he was sevenyearsin buildingit.
So he builtthe houseand finishedit; and he coveredthe housewith beamsand planksof cedar.
The sonsof Amramwere Aaronand Moses.And Aaronwas setapartto sanctifyhim as mostholy,he and his sonsforever,to burnincensebeforethe LORD,to ministerto Him and to blessin His nameforever.
"My sons,do not be negligentnow,for the LORDhas chosenyou to standbeforeHim, to ministerto Him, and to be His ministersand burnincense."
"Becausethey have forsakenMe and have burnedincenseto othergods,that they might provokeMe to angerwith allthe worksof their hands;therefore My wrathwill be pouredout on thisplaceand it shall not be quenched."'
Thus allthe workof Solomonwas carriedout from the dayof the foundationof the houseof the LORD,and untilit was finished.So the houseof the LORDwas completed.
"Aaronshall burnfragrantincenseon it; he shall burnit every morningwhen he trimsthe lamps.
"Threetimesa yearallyour malesare to appearbeforethe LordGOD,the Godof Israel.
"Threetimesin a yearallyour malesshall appearbeforethe LORDyour Godin the placewhichHe chooses,at the Feastof UnleavenedBreadand at the Feastof Weeksand at the Feastof Booths,and they shall not appearbeforethe LORDempty-handed.
that the daughtersof Israelwentyearlyto commemoratethe daughterof Jephthahthe Gileaditefourdaysin the year.
