and on the borderswhichwere betweenthe frames[were] lions,oxenand cherubim;and on the framesthere [was] a pedestalabove,and beneaththe lionsand oxen[were] wreathsof hangingwork.
So He drovethe manout; and at the eastof the gardenof EdenHe stationedthe cherubimand the flamingswordwhich turnedevery direction to guardthe wayto the treeof life.
He placedthe cherubimin the midstof the innerhouse,and the wingsof the cherubimwere spreadout, so that the wingof the onewas touchingthe [one] wall,and the wingof the othercherubwas touchingthe otherwall.So their wingswere touchingeachotherin the centerof the house.
It stoodon twelveoxen,threefacingnorth,threefacingwest,threefacingsouth,and threefacingeast;and the sea[was set] on topof them, and alltheir rearparts[turned] inward.
Thiswas the designof the stands:they had borders,even bordersbetweenthe frames,
Now eachstandhad fourbronzewheelswith bronzeaxles,and its fourfeethad supports;beneaththe basin[were] castsupportswith wreathsat eachside.
"You shall maketwocherubimof gold,makethem of hammeredworkat the twoendsof the mercyseat.
He madetwocherubimof gold;he madethem of hammeredworkat the twoendsof the mercyseat;
As for the formof their faces,[each] had the faceof a man;all fourhad the faceof a lionon the rightand the faceof a bullon the left,and all fourhad the faceof an eagle.
And eachonehad fourfaces.The firstface[was] the faceof a cherub,the secondface[was] the faceof a man,the thirdthe faceof a lion,and the fourththe faceof an eagle.
For I [will be] like a lionto EphraimAnd like a younglionto the houseof Judah.I, even I, will tearto pieces and goaway, I will carryaway, and therewill be noneto deliver.
and aboveit [were] the cherubimof gloryovershadowingthe mercy seat;but of these thingswe cannotnowspeakin detail.
you also,as livingstones,are being builtup as a spiritualhousefor a holypriesthood,to offerup spiritualsacrificesacceptableto GodthroughJesusChrist.
and oneof the elderssaidto me, "Stopweeping;behold,the Lionthat is from the tribeof Judah,the Rootof David,has overcomeso as to openthe bookand its sevenseals."
