He builtthe innercourtwith threerowsof cutstoneand a rowof cedarbeams.
He carved[on it] cherubim,palmtrees,and openflowers;and he overlaid[them] with goldevenlyappliedon the engravedwork.
So the greatcourtallaround[had] threerowsof cutstoneand a rowof cedarbeamseven as the innercourtof the houseof the LORD,and the porchof the house.
Then he madethe courtof the priestsand the greatcourtand doorsfor the court,and overlaidtheir doorswith bronze.
Then Solomonconsecratedthe middleof the courtthat [was] beforethe houseof the LORD,for therehe offeredthe burntofferingsand the fatof the peaceofferingsbecausethe bronzealtarwhichSolomonhad madewas not ableto containthe burntoffering,the grain offeringand the fat.
with threelayersof hugestonesand one layerof timbers.And let the costbe paidfrom the royaltreasury.
Then Baruchreadfrom the bookthe wordsof Jeremiahin the houseof the LORDin the chamberof Gemariahthe sonof Shaphanthe scribe,in the uppercourt,at the entryof the NewGateof the LORD'Shouse,to allthe people.
Then he broughtme to the innercourtby the southgate;and he measuredthe southgateaccording to thosesame measurements.
"Leaveout the courtwhich is outsidethe templeand do not measureit, for it has been givento the nations;and they will tread under footthe holycityfor forty-twomonths.
