Throughyour messengersyou have reproachedthe Lord,And you have said,"With my manychariotsI cameup to the heightsof the mountains,To the remotestpartsof Lebanon;And I cutdownits tallcedars[and] its choicecypresses.And I enteredits farthestlodgingplace,its thickestforest.
Purifyme with hyssop,and I shall be clean;Washme, and I shall be whiterthansnow.
The righteousmanwill flourishlike the palmtree,He will growlike a cedarin Lebanon.
"You shall takea bunchof hyssopand dipit in the bloodwhichis in the basin,and applysomeof the bloodthat is in the basinto the linteland the twodoorposts;and noneof you shall gooutsidethe doorof his houseuntilmorning.
"[Come] with me from Lebanon,[my] bride,May you comewith me from Lebanon.Journeydownfrom the summitof Amana,From the summitof Senirand Hermon,From the densof lions,From the mountainsof leopards.
"His legsare pillarsof alabasterSeton pedestalsof puregold;His appearanceis like LebanonChoiceas the cedars.
"Then he shall takethe cedarwoodand the hyssopand the scarletstring,with the livebird,and dipthem in the bloodof the slainbirdas well as in the runningwater,and sprinklethe houseseventimes.
A cleanpersonshall takehyssopand dip[it] in the water,and sprinkle[it] on the tentand on allthe furnishingsand on the personswhowere there,and on the one who touchedthe boneorthe oneslainorthe one dying[naturally] orthe grave.
