Jeroboam'swifedidso,and aroseand wentto Shiloh,and cameto the houseof Ahijah.Now Ahijahcouldnot see,for his eyeswere dimbecauseof his age.
Now it cameabout, whenIsaacwas oldand his eyeswere toodimto see,that he calledhis oldersonEsauand saidto him, "My son."And he saidto him, "HereI am."
Now the eyesof Israelwere [so] dimfrom age[that] he couldnot see.Then Joseph broughtthem closeto him, and he kissedthem and embracedthem.
It cameabout at that time,when Jeroboamwentout of Jerusalem,that the prophetAhijahthe Shilonitefoundhim on the road.Now Ahijah had clothedhimself with a newcloak;and bothof them were alonein the field.
Jeroboamsaidto his wife,"Arisenow,and disguiseyourself so that they will not knowthat you are the wifeof Jeroboam,and goto Shiloh;behold,Ahijahthe prophetis there,whospokeconcerningme [that I would be] kingoverthispeople.
As for the daysof our life,they contain seventyyears,Or ifdue to strength,eightyyears,Yet their prideis [but] laborand sorrow;For soonit is goneand we flyaway.
in the daythat the watchmenof the housetremble,and mightymenstoop,the grindingones standidlebecausethey are few,and those who lookthrough windowsgrowdim;
Although Moseswas one hundredand twentyyearsoldwhen he died,his eyewas not dim,norhis vigorabated.
Then the wholecongregationof the sonsof Israelassembledthemselves at Shiloh,and setup the tentof meetingthere;and the landwas subduedbeforethem.
It happenedat that timeas Eliwas lyingdownin his place(now his eyesighthad begunto grow dim[and] he couldnot see[well]),
Now Eliwas ninety-eightyearsold,and his eyeswere setso that he couldnot see.
