So they searchedfor a beautifulgirlthroughout allthe territoryof Israel,and foundAbishagthe Shunammite,and broughther to the king.
So his servantssaidto him, "Let them seeka youngvirginfor my lordthe king,and let her attendthe kingand becomehis nurse;and let her liein your bosom,that my lordthe kingmay keepwarm."
The girlwas verybeautiful;and she becamethe king'snurseand servedhim, but the kingdid not cohabitwith her.
So she wentand cameto the manof Godto MountCarmel.When the manof Godsawher at a distance,he saidto Gehazihis servant,"Behold,thereis the Shunammite.
Now there camea daywhen Elishapassedoverto Shunem,wherethere was a prominentwoman,and she persuadedhim to eatfood.And so it was, as oftenas he passedby, he turnedin thereto eatfood.
Then the king'sattendants,who servedhim, said,"Let beautifulyoungvirginsbe soughtfor the king.
"Then let the youngladywhopleasesthe kingbe queenin placeof Vashti."And the matterpleasedthe king,and he didaccordingly.
Their territorywas to Jezreeland [included] Chesullothand Shunem,
So the Philistinesgatheredtogether and cameand campedin Shunem;and SaulgatheredallIsraeltogether and they campedin Gilboa.
