For thereare threethat testify:
By the wordof the LORDthe heavenswere made,And by the breathof His mouthalltheir host.
The Spiritof the LordGODis upon me, Becausethe LORDhas anointedme To bringgood newsto the afflicted;He has sentme to bindup the brokenhearted,To proclaimlibertyto captivesAnd freedomto prisoners;
While he was stillspeaking,a brightcloudovershadowedthem, and behold,a voiceout of the cloudsaid,"Thisis My belovedSon,with whomI am well-pleased;listento Him!"
"But ifhe does not listen[to you], takeoneortwomorewith you, sothat BY THE MOUTHOF TWOORTHREEWITNESSESEVERYFACTMAY BE CONFIRMED.
"Gothereforeand make disciplesof allthe nations,baptizingthem in the nameof the Fatherand the Sonand the HolySpirit,
In the beginningwas the Word,and the Wordwas with God,and the Wordwas God.
"I and the Fatherare one."
"Father,glorifyYour name."Thena voicecameout of heaven:"I have bothglorifiedit, and will glorifyit again."
[that is] the Spiritof truth,whomthe worldcannotreceive,becauseit does not seeHim orknowHim, [but] you knowHim becauseHe abideswith you and will be in you.
"Whenthe Helpercomes,whomI will sendto you from the Father,[that is] the Spiritof truthwhoproceedsfrom the Father,He will testifyaboutMe,
"For justas the Fatherhaslifein Himself,evensoHe gaveto the Sonalsoto havelifein Himself;
"I amHe who testifiesaboutMyself,and the Fatherwho sentMe testifiesaboutMe."
Jesusanswered,"IfI glorifyMyself,My gloryis nothing;it is My Fatherwho glorifiesMe, of whomyou say,'He is our God';
"Thereforehaving been exaltedto the right handof God,and having receivedfrom the Fatherthe promiseof the HolySpirit,He has poured forththiswhichyou bothseeand hear.
"And we are witnessesof thesethings;and [so is] the HolySpirit,whomGodhas givento thosewho obeyHim."
The graceof the LordJesusChrist,and the loveof God,and the fellowshipof the HolySpirit,be with you all.
"Hear,O Israel!The LORDis our God,the LORDis one!
Whatwas from the beginning,whatwe have heard,whatwe have seenwith our eyes,whatwe have lookedat and touchedwith our hands,concerningthe Wordof Life--
Thisis the One who cameby waterand blood,JesusChrist;not with the wateronly,but with the waterand with the blood.It is the Spiritwho testifies,becausethe Spiritis the truth.
the Spiritand the waterand the blood;and the threeare in agreement.
[He is] clothedwith a robedippedin blood,and His nameis calledThe Wordof God.
