On the other hand,I am writinga newcommandmentto you, whichis true in Him and in you, becausethe darknessis passing awayand the true Lightis alreadyshining.
for you were formerlydarkness,but nowyou are Lightin the Lord;walkas childrenof Light
The nightis almost gone,and the dayis near.Thereforelet us lay asidethe deedsof darknessand puton the armorof light.
"A newcommandmentI giveto you, that you loveoneanother,evenas I have lovedyou, that you alsoloveone another.
ThenJesusagainspoketo them, saying,"I amthe Lightof the world;he who followsMe will not walkin the darkness,but will havethe Lightof life."
There was the true Lightwhich,cominginto the world,enlightenseveryman.
"I have come[as] Lightinto the world,sothat everyonewho believesin Me will not remainin darkness.
And thiscommandmentwe havefrom Him, that the one who lovesGodshould lovehis brotheralso.
"But for you who fearMy name,the sunof righteousnesswill risewith healingin its wings;and you will goforthand skipaboutlike calvesfrom the stall.
Beloved,ifGodsolovedus, we alsooughtto loveone another.
but nowhas been revealedby the appearingof our SaviorChristJesus,who abolisheddeathand broughtlifeand immortalityto lightthroughthe gospel,
For you knowthe graceof our LordJesusChrist,that though He was rich,yet for your sakeHe becamepoor,sothat you through His povertymight become rich.
to opentheir eyesso that they may turnfrom darknessto lightand from the dominionof Satanto God,that they may receiveforgivenessof sinsand an inheritanceamongthosewho have been sanctifiedby faithin Me.'
"Thereforehaving overlookedthe timesof ignorance,Godis nowdeclaringto menthat all[people] everywhereshould repent,
TO SHINEUPON THOSEWHO SITIN DARKNESSAND THE SHADOWOF DEATH,To guideour feetinto the wayof peace."
For with You is the fountainof life;In Your lightwe seelight.
The LORDis my lightand my salvation;Whomshall I fear?The LORDis the defenseof my life;Whomshall I dread?
SoJesussaidto them, "For a littlewhilelongerthe Lightis amongyou. Walkwhileyou havethe Light,sothat darknesswill not overtakeyou; he who walksin the darknessdoes not knowwherehe goes.
"THE PEOPLEWHO WERE SITTINGIN DARKNESSSAWA GREATLIGHT,AND THOSEWHO WERE SITTINGIN THE LANDAND SHADOWOF DEATH,UPON THEM A LIGHTDAWNED."
The peoplewho walkin darknessWill seea greatlight;Those who livein a darkland,The lightwill shineon them.
For the LORDGodis a sunand shield;The LORDgivesgraceand glory;Nogoodthingdoes He withholdfrom those who walkuprightly.
who throughHim are believersin God,who raisedHim from the deadand gaveHim glory,sothat your faithand hopeare in God.
Thisis His commandment,that we believein the nameof His SonJesusChrist,and loveone another,justas He commandedus.
