A generationgoesand a generationcomes,But the earthremainsforever.
Divideyour portionto seven,or evento eight,for you do not knowwhatmisfortunemay occuron the earth.
"Be on guard,sothat your heartswill not be weighted downwith dissipationand drunkennessand the worriesof life,and that daywill not comeon you suddenlylikea trap;
But thisI say,brethren,the timehas beenshortened,sothat from nowon thosewho havewivesshould be as thoughthey hadnone;
and thosewho weep,as thoughthey did not weep;and thosewho rejoice,as thoughthey did not rejoice;and thosewho buy,as thoughthey did not possess;
Whatthenis my reward?That, when I preach the gospel,I may offerthe gospelwithout charge,soas not to make full useof my rightin the gospel.
This[expression], "Yetonce more,"denotesthe removingof thosethings which can be shaken,as of created things,sothat thosethings which cannotbe shakenmay remain.
Yetyou do not knowwhatyour lifewill be like tomorrow.You are [just] a vaporthat appearsfor a little whileand thenvanishes away.
For, "ALLFLESHIS LIKEGRASS,AND ALLITS GLORYLIKETHE FLOWEROF GRASS.THE GRASSWITHERS,AND THE FLOWERFALLS OFF,
The endof all thingsis near;therefore,be of sound judgmentand sober[spirit] for the purpose of prayer.
The worldis passing away,and [also] its lusts;but the one who doesthe willof Godlivesforever.
