But I wantyou to understandthat Christis the headof everyman,and the manis the headof a woman,and Godis the headof Christ.
To the womanHe said,"I will greatlymultiplyYour painin childbirth,In painyou will bringforthchildren;Yet your desirewill be for your husband,And he will ruleover you."
Wives,be subjectto your husbands,as is fittingin the Lord.
He is alsoheadof the body,the church;and He is the beginning,the firstbornfrom the dead,sothat He Himselfwill cometo have first placein everything.
and you belong to Christ;and Christbelongs to God.
but speaking the truthin love,we are to growup in all[aspects] into Him whois the head,[even] Christ,
In the same way,you wives,be submissiveto your ownhusbandssothat evenifany[of them] are disobedientto the word,they may be wonwithouta wordby the behaviorof their wives,
and not holding fastto the head,from whomthe entirebody,being suppliedand held togetherby the jointsand ligaments,growswith a growthwhich is from God.
and in Him you have beenmade complete,and He is the headover allruleand authority;
"You heardthat I saidto you, 'I go away,and I will cometo you.' Ifyou lovedMe, you would have rejoicedbecauseI goto the Father,for the Fatheris greaterthan I.
And Jesuscameup and spoketo them, saying,"Allauthorityhas been givento Me in heavenand on earth.
"Behold,I have madehim a witnessto the peoples,A leaderand commanderfor the peoples.
Behold,My servantwill prosper,He will be highand liftedup and greatlyexalted.
