Lookat the nationIsrael;are not thosewho eatthe sacrificessharersin the altar?
Then the priestshall offer[it] up in smokeon the altar[as] food,an offeringby fireto the LORD.
Everymaleamong the priestsmay eatof it. It shall be eatenin a holyplace;it is mostholy.
The guiltofferingis like the sinoffering,there is onelawfor them; the priestwhomakesatonementwith it shall haveit.
concerningHis Son,who was bornof a descendantof Davidaccordingto the flesh,
Whatthenshall we saythat Abraham,our forefatheraccordingto the flesh,has found?
and the fatherof circumcisionto thosewho not onlyare of the circumcision,but who alsofollowin the stepsof the faithof our fatherAbrahamwhich he had while uncircumcised.
Do you not knowthat thosewho performsacred serviceseatthe [food] of the temple,[and] thosewho attend regularlyto the altarhave their sharefrom the altar?
And those whowill walkby thisrule,peaceand mercy[be] upon them, and upon the Israelof God.
"You are not allowedto eatwithin your gatesthe titheof your grainor newwineor oil,or the firstbornof your herdor flock,or anyof your votiveofferingswhichyou vow,or your freewillofferings,or the contributionof your hand.
We havean altarfrom whichthosewho servethe tabernaclehavenorightto eat.
