Nowthese thingshappenedto them as an example,and they were writtenfor our instruction,upon whomthe endsof the ageshave come.
So they made their fatherdrinkwinethat nightalso,and the youngeraroseand laywith him; and he did not knowwhen she laydownor when she arose.
Thiswill be writtenfor the generationto come,That a peopleyet to be createdmay praisethe LORD.
So it will be a reproach,a reviling,a warningand an objectof horrorto the nationswhosurroundyou when I executejudgmentsagainst you in anger,wrathand ragingrebukes.I, the LORD,have spoken.

Oris He speakingaltogetherfor our sake?Yes,for our sakeit was written,becausethe plowmanoughtto plowin hope,and the thresher[to thresh] in hopeof sharing[the crops].
Thisis allegorically speaking,for these[women] are twocovenants:one[proceeding] from MountSinaibearing childrenwho are to be slaves;she is Hagar.
Let your gentle[spirit] be knownto allmen.The Lordis near.
not forsakingour ownassembling together,as is the habitof some,but encouraging[one another]; and allthe moreas you seethe daydrawing near.
FOR YETIN A VERYLITTLEWHILE,HE WHO IS COMINGWILL COME,AND WILL NOT DELAY.
Children,it is the lasthour;and justas you heardthat antichristis coming,evennowmanyantichristshave appeared;from thiswe knowthat it is the lasthour.
