So the singers,Heman,Asaphand Ethan[were appointed] to soundaloud cymbalsof bronze;
For he was wiserthanallmen,thanEthanthe Ezrahite,Heman,Calcoland Darda,the sonsof Mahol;and his famewas [known] in allthe surroundingnations.
Davidand allIsraelwere celebratingbeforeGodwith all[their] might,even with songsand with lyres,harps,tambourines,cymbalsand with trumpets.
Then Davidspoketo the chiefsof the Levitesto appointtheir relativesthe singers,with instrumentsof music,harps,lyres,loud-soundingcymbals,to raisesoundsof joy.
and with them their relativesof the secondrank,Zechariah,Ben,Jaaziel,Shemiramoth,Jehiel,Unni,Eliab,Benaiah,Maaseiah,Mattithiah,Eliphelehu,Mikneiah,Obed-edomand Jeiel,the gatekeepers.
and Zechariah,Aziel,Shemiramoth,Jehiel,Unni,Eliab,Maaseiahand Benaiah,with harps[tuned] to alamoth;
And with them [were] Hemanand Jeduthun[with] trumpetsand cymbalsfor those who should soundaloud, and [with] instruments[for] the songsof God,and the sonsof Jeduthunfor the gate.
Asaphthe chief,and secondto him Zechariah,[then] Jeiel,Shemiramoth,Jehiel,Mattithiah,Eliab,Benaiah,Obed-edomand Jeiel,with musical instruments,harps,lyres;also Asaph[played] loud-soundingcymbals,
Moreover, Davidand the commandersof the armysetapartfor the service[some] of the sonsof Asaphand of Hemanand of Jeduthun,who [were] to prophesywith lyres,harpsand cymbals;and the numberof thosewho performedtheir servicewas:
Allthesewere underthe directionof their fatherto singin the houseof the LORD,with cymbals,harpsand lyres,for the serviceof the houseof God.Asaph,Jeduthunand Heman[were] underthe directionof the king.
The Levites,from the sonsof the Kohathitesand of the sonsof the Korahites,stoodup to praisethe LORDGodof Israel,with a veryloudvoice.
The priestsstoodat their posts,and the Levitesalso, with the instrumentsof musicto the LORD,whichKingDavidhad madefor givingpraiseto the LORD--"for His lovingkindnessis everlasting"--whenever he gavepraiseby their means,while the priestson the othersideblewtrumpets;and allIsraelwas standing.
PraiseHim with loudcymbals;PraiseHim with resoundingcymbals.
Blowthe trumpetat the newmoon,At the fullmoon,on our feastday.
