Ba‛ana son of Aḥiluḏ, in Ta‛anaḵ and Meḡiddo, and all Bĕyth She’an, which is beside Tsarethan below Yizre‛ĕl, from Bĕyth She’an to Aḇĕl Meḥolah, as far as the other side of Yoqne‛am;


It blossoms much and rejoices, even with joy and singing. The esteem of Leḇanon shall be given to it, the excellence of Karmel and Sharon. They shall see the esteem of יהוה, the excellency of our Elohim.


“As I live,” declares the Sovereign, whose Name is יהוה of hosts, “For as Taḇor is among the mountains, and as Karmel by the sea, he shall come.

and Qeḏesh, and Ḥatsor, and Yithnan,


Ma‛on, Karmel, and Ziph, and Yutah,


And their border went toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbesheth, and reached to the wadi that faced Yoqne‛am,


and Qeḏesh, and Eḏre‛i, and Ěn Ḥatsor,


So they set apart Qeḏesh in Galil, in the mountains of Naphtali, and Sheḵem in the mountains of Ephrayim, and Qiryath Arba, that is Ḥeḇron, in the mountains of Yehuḏah.


And from the tribe of Naphtali, Qeḏesh in Galil with its open land as a city of refuge for the man-slayer, and Ḥammoth Dor with its open land, and Qartan with its open land – three cities.


And to the clans of the children of Merari, the rest of the Lĕwites, from the tribe of Zeḇulun, Yoqne‛am with its open land, Qartah with its open land,


Now there was a man in Ma‛on and his work was in Karmel, and the man was very great. And he had three thousand sheep and a thousand goats. And he came to be shearing his sheep in Karmel.
