And it came to be, when Shelomoh was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other mighty ones. And his heart was not perfect with יהוה  his Elohim, as was the heart of his father Dawiḏ


But those who turn aside to their crooked ways, יהוה  shall lead them away With the workers of wickedness. Peace be upon Yisra’ĕ


The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise, to do good.


Alas, sinning nation, a people loaded with crookedness, a seed of evil-doers, sons acting corruptly! They have forsaken יהוה, they have provoked the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕ


“But when a righteous one turns away from his righteousness and does unrighteousness, according to all the abominations that the wrong one has done, shall he live? All his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered. For his trespass which he has committed, and for his sin which he has committed, for them he shall die.


and those who turn away from following יהוה, and who have not sought יהוה  or inquired of Him.”


“Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”


From then on many of His taught ones withdrew and were not walking with Him any more.


Let love be without hypocrisy. Shrink from what is wicked, cling to what is good.


for יהוה  your Elohim is a jealous Ě


“And do not intermarry with them – you do not give your daughter to his son, and you do not take his daughter for your son,


for he turns your sons away from following Me, to serve other mighty ones. Then the displeasure of יהוה  shall burn against you and promptly destroy you.


“And you shall diligently guard yourselves, to love יהוה  your Elohim.


The one who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in the darkness until now.


But his father and mother said to him, “Is there no woman among the daughters of your brothers, or among all my people, that you should take a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines?” And Shimshon said to his father, “Take her for me, for she is pleasing in my eyes.”


and took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and they served their mighty ones.
