The wicked have laid a snare for me; Yet went I not astray from thy precepts.


I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: Give ear unto the voice of my supplications, O LORD.


Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, And from the gins of the workers of iniquity.


I sought the LORD, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.


For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, Without cause have they digged a pit for my soul.
