Many are my persecutors and mine adversaries; Yet have I not swerved from they testimonies.


Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, Which do wander from thy commandments.


I cleave unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.


The proud have forged a lie against me: With my whole heart will I keep thy precepts.


Our heart is not turned back, Neither have our steps declined from thy way;


and said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.


He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgement in the earth; and the isles shall wait for his law.


O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am become a laughingstock all the day, every one mocketh me.


And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also scoffed at him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen.
