And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? but consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.


Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth on me, though he die, yet shall he live:


even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that whatsoever thou hast given him, to them he should give eternal life.


It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I have spoken unto you are spirit, and are life.


Why is it judged incredible with you, if God doth raise the dead?


But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall quicken also your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.


So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.


See now that I, even I, am he, And there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I have wounded, and I heal: And there is none that can deliver out of my hand.
