And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
Then thine handmaid said, Let, I pray thee, the word of my lord the king be comfortable: for as an angel of God, so is my lord the king to discern good and bad: and the LORD thy God be with thee.
And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to inquire of God:
and thou shalt teach them the statutes and the laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.
So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.
And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be the token unto thee, that I have sent thee: when thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt speak.
And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and it shall come to pass, that he shall be to thee a mouth, and thou shalt be to him as God.
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: Teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.

When thou goest forth to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, thou shalt not be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid because of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,
