But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren.
Judas, who betrayed him, said, “Is it I, Master?” He said to him, “You have said so.”
And he came up to Jesus at once and said, “Hail, Master!” And he kissed him.
And Peter remembered and said to him, “Master, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered.”
And when he came, he went up to him at once, and said, “Master!” And he kissed him.
And Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is well that we are here; let us make three booths, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.”
Jesus turned, and saw them following, and said to them, “What do you seek?” And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?”
Nathana-el answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”
The disciples said to him, “Rabbi, the Jews were but now seeking to stone you, and are you going there again?”
This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him.”
And they came to John, and said to him, “Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you bore witness, here he is, baptizing, and all are going to him.”
When they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”
And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
