Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.


Or else let it cling to me for protection; let it make peace with me; let it make peace with me.


The effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.


All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the prosperity of your children.

But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his name.


Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and does not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.


You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all.


For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith, as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.”


To all God’s beloved in Rome, who are called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.


For one believes with the heart, leading to righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, leading to salvation.


And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”


For the kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.


May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.


The God of peace be with all of you. Amen.

since God is one, and he will justify the circumcised on the ground of faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.

What then are we to say? Gentiles, who did not strive for righteousness, have attained it, that is, righteousness through faith,


yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through the faith of Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by the faith of Christ and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.


But now that faith has come, we are no longer subject to a disciplinarian,


By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness,


so that in the ages to come he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.


and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law but one that comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God based on faith.


and through him God was pleased to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, by making peace through the blood of his cross.


And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.


May the God of peace himself sanctify you entirely, and may your spirit and soul and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.


Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.


Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,
