by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.


whom God put forward as a sacrifice of atonement by his blood, effective through faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over the sins previously committed;


who was handed over for our trespasses and was raised for our justification.


Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death came through sin, and so death spread to all because all have sinned—


But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died through the one man’s trespass, much more surely have the grace of God and the gift in the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded for the many.


For just as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so through the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.


For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.


for as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.


but we do see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
